Sergei Guriev In Conversation With Gideon Rachman

A rare chance to discuss Russia's prospects with the brilliant former rector of the famous New Economic School, Sergei Guriev, in conversation with Gideon Rachman, chief foreign affairs commentator for the Financial Times.  In English.  Talk: 5.30pm–6.30pm; drinks: 6.30pm–7.30pm.  

This event is held in partnership with Russians in the City, the international club for Russian-speaking finance professionals.

Sergei Guriev is Professor of Economics at Sciences Po, Paris.  He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Bruegel think tank (Brussels), of the Advisory Council of the Peterson Institute for International Economics (Washington DC), and of the Academic Advisory Board of the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University. He is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research, London.

Gideon Rachman is chief foreign affairs commentator for the Financial Times and writes an award-winning weekly column.  His book 'Zero-Sum World' was published by Atlantic in 2011.  He worked previously for the Economist.  He read history at Cambridge University and has been a visiting fellow at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
