Троица/Гряная неделя – встречаем лето – кумление, русалки, похороны кукушки и многое другое

Приходите праздновать Гряную неделю в наш клуб ИЗБА - с песнями, играми, народными традициями и троицкими ватрушками. Троица (или Семик – через семь недель после Пасхи) – один из самых важных православных церковных праздников – в народном календаре представлена множеством разнообразных традиций и ритуалов, приуроченных к периоду наивысшего расцвета природы, перехода от весеннего сезона к летнему. В это время встречали и провожали русалок, поминали умерших родственников в Родительскую Субботу, “хоронили” кукушку, водили Стрелу. На троицкой неделе чтили молодоженов, а также кумились, давая обет дружбы и поддержки. Приходите сами, приводите друзей или всю семью - наш праздник для всех поколений.

Whitsunday – welcoming Summer – Rusalki, Cookoo's funeral and much more

Come and be a guest at our popular IZBA Club to celebrate Russian Whitsun - with songs, games, folk traditions and a Whitsun related village cuisine. Holy Trinity – a major Orthodox church holiday – is represented in the folk calender with a stunning variety of traditions and rituals related to the period of the nature's highest blossom, the transition from spring to summer. At this time people encountered Rusalki, commemorated the passed relatives on the Parents' Saturday, “buried” the Cookoo or “the arrow”. During the Whitsun week the newly weds were honoured, and best friends performed the Kumlenie ritual, pledging friendship and support to each other. Come along, bring your friends or your family - all ages are welcome.
