We invite you to our book fair at Pushkin House as part of Open House Festival 2023!
The Pushkin House Bookshop is a specialist bookshop dedicated to Russian culture, history, politics, literature and visual arts. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re interested in a particular period of history, looking for a unique arty gift or just getting started with Russian literature.
At the fair we will showcase our bookseller’s top picks and introduce you to what we’re exploring in the bookshop and in Pushkin House’s programme. You’ll find:
The best books about Russian politics, history and current affairs
Ukrainian literature, visual arts and culture
Dissident, protest and anti-war works
Zines and artist books made by our creative community
Topical graphic novels, comics, art and design books
Stories from the voices less heard, such as the LGBTQ+ community, women writers and those whose native lands were claimed by the Russian Empire, Soviet Union and Post-Soviet Russia.
Books from small presses in the UK and abroad which aren’t readily available in other bookshops.
So if you’re looking to learn something new, come along to browse and get some recommendations. We hope to see you there!
Entry is free.
