A one-evening exhibition of fifteen remarkable printed books and manuscripts relating to Pushkin, which are due to be sold at a Christie's auction in this season’s sale 'Russia: Important books and Manuscripts'.

We are thrilled to offer book lovers the opportunity for a close encounter with a first edition of 'Evgeny Onegin'; a first edition of Boris Godunov; the first appearance of Pushkin’s verse in print; an important contemporary manuscript witness, on imperial chancery paper, to the poetic dialogue between Pushkin and Metropolitan Philaret; a fine sketchbook portraying several of Pushkin’s acquaintances; a manuscript of a contemporary poetry anthology; a sumptuously-illustrated 20th-century limited edition of Boris Godunov; and rare almanacs and journals.
