The equilibrium of words and music: The Dinner Party Trio in concert with Lee Allane

An evening of poetry and live music with readings from selected works by Russian poets and writers Alexander Pushkin, Daniil Kharms and Yevgeny Yevtushenko. Performance poet Lee Allane will read on stage, joined by trio The Dinner Party performing live their improvised and composed music.

Lee Allane is a writer, artist and performance poet, who has performed readings from the English translation of selected works of Yevgeny Yevtushenko's 'The FaceBehind The Face' at the Roundhouse, London, and in collaborations with the Nameless Poets, has performed a variety of work at the Oval and White Bear theatres and other venues throughout London and the UK.

Pianist Vladimir Miller has composed music celebrating the writing of Daniil Kharms with the ensemble Moscow Composers Orchestra that can be heard on two CD releases on Longarms and Leo record labels.

As well as a double bass player, Pierpaolo Martino is a published author specializing in the relationship between the written word and music.

Sax player Adrian Northover is a long standing member of the London Improvisers Orchestra and evocative experimental ensemble,The Remote Viewers.
