About the pianist
Galina Umanskaya performs in a romantic and sensual way, relying on her elaborate technical and artistic skills. Galina is a laureate of international competitions in Spain, Russia, Hong-Kong, Germany, Turkey and South Korea. She has taken part in festivals in Russia, Spain and Greece and collaborated with orchestras in the UK, Spain and Russia. Her repertoire presents music by various composers including Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Messiaen, Scriabin and Stravinsky.
Galina received her musical education in Moscow and London. Recently, she finished her Bachelor’s degree with first class honours and was awarded with the TCL Scholarship. Currently, she is continuing her studies at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under Mikhail Kazakevich.
