Charles Clover writes from Beijing for the Financial Times. He was formerly (2008-2013) the FT's Moscow bureau chief. He has been with the FT since 1997, working in a variety of roles for the newspaper, based in Kiev, Baghdad and Kabul as well as London.  In 2011 he won the British Press Awards Foreign Reporter of the Year award and in 2014 he received a RIA Novosti PressZvanie Award.

Adela Gooch has wide-ranging experience of journalism, communication and international policy work with specialised knowledge of the Hispanic world, the European Union and transitional states, including Russia and China. She devised and ran the key states programme for the UK Foreign Office discussion centre at Wilton Park engaging with a wide range of private and public sector sponsors and partners
