Чекисты и журналисты, Донбасс и Сирия, танки на параде и "мигалки" на лимузинах, Сталин и Ельцин, собаки Шувалова и песни Шнурова сплетаются в одно полифоническое повествование о власти и обществе времен третьего президентского срока Путина. Эссе Сергея Медведева одновременно ироничны и академичны, но неизменно глубоки. Это острый социологический комментарий к событиям 2014-2017 годов.
