Laura Dekker is a British artist whose work examines how we experience and make sense of the world. She explores these ideas through interactive, robotic and performative works, combining physical materials, video, audio and artificial intelligence techniques developed during an earlier career as a research scientist. Since graduating with a First Class degree in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, her work has been shown internationally at festivals, museums, parkland, historical sites and urban public spaces.
Anya Charikov-Mickleburgh, born in Samara, is now based in London. Since graduating in 2008 with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from Central St Martin’s Anya has had three solo shows in London, has been extensively exhibited across the UK, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine including group exhibitions in the London Canal Museum, Valentines Mansion, Candid Art Trust, the Camden Arts Centre, Rossotrudnichestvo, Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Project Space, Whitstable Satellite Biennale, and MANIFESTA11 in Zurich. She graduates next year from the Royal College of Art where she is doing an MA in Painting.
Nick Clark is a London-based photographer whose passion is portraiture. Graduating from Plymouth college of Art &Design in Photography, he developed his skills assisting some great photographers including Barry Lategan and David Bailey. His works have been exhibited in Los Angeles, USA and across the UK; he has had four solo shows since 2003. Nick’s work has been featured in various magazines including German and Spanish Vogue, The Sunday Times and Harpers and Queen. Clark has won numerous awards and prizes in international film festivals.
Liz Sergeant is a British artist whose work examines the artist’s role as a catalyst for change through interventions, installations and playful disruptions. Liz’s practice tests the notion of art as a participatory event. Since graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in 2012, Liz’s work has been selected for exhibition by SpaceStation 65, Re:Kindle Public Arts, Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects, and most recently Moving Image Margate 2016 and the Satellite programme at Whitstable Biennale. A co-founder of the artist collective XAP (Cross Arts Projects), Liz has co-curated and exhibited in several group shows with XAP in and around London; most recently ‘Daylight Saving’ (Gedddes gallery), and ‘The Other Garden’ (Nancy Victor Gallery). Liz is an Arts Award adviser and a regular guest artist at local schools, running workshops and developing large-scale projects to engage and inspire children’s creativity.
